Andrew Weiland is the editor of BizTimes Milwaukee. He joined BizTimes in 2003, serving as managing editor and real estate reporter for 11 years. A University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, Weiland is a lifelong resident of the state. He lives in Muskego with his wife, Seng, and son, Zachary. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys coaching his son’s youth baseball and basketball teams.
Molly Dill is managing editor at BizTimes Milwaukee, where she covers banking and financial services. A graduate of Marquette University, Dill joined BizTimes as a reporter in 2011. Previously, she was a reporter for the Marshfield News-Herald in central Wisconsin. She lives in Wauwatosa with her husband, Jesse, and her dog, Tuck. In her free time, Dill enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and trying Milwaukee’s newest restaurants.
Corri Hess joined BizTimes in 2015 covering real estate. She has been a reporter since 2001, working at several daily newspapers, the Milwaukee Business Journal and freelancing for area publications. Corri graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She lives in Bay View with her husband, Andy Turner, and daughter, Julia.
Arthur Thomas covers manufacturing and technology for BizTimes. He previously was managing editor at The Waukesha Freeman. He is a graduate of Carroll University and has also studied at Marquette. He is a native of southeastern Wisconsin and currently lives in Wauwatosa. He is a nationally certified gymnastics judge and enjoys golf on the weekends.
Lauren Anderson covers health care, nonprofits, technology and insurance for BizTimes. Lauren previously reported on education for the Waukesha Freeman. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied journalism, history and African studies. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends and seeing live music wherever she can.
Maredithe Meyer started as an intern reporter at BizTimes in summer 2015. She currently covers entertainment, sports, tourism and restaurants. In May 2017, she graduated with a journalism degree from Marquette University where she worked as an in-depth projects reporter for the Marquette Wire and Marquette Tribune.
Dan Meyer, a graduate of Marquette University, founded BizTimes in 1995 and has been in the publishing industry for 33 years. He’s had the privilege to work with great team members who have been integral in the growth of BizTimes Media. Dan likes to spend time fishing in Northern Wisconsin, traveling, playing golf with friends and spending time with his wife Kate and four children Maredithe, Brian, Daniel and Margo.
Director of Operations & Events
Mary Ernst is Director of Operations and Events for BizTimes Media. She joined the company in 2008, and has served in a variety of roles. A Brookfield native, Mary attended Mount Mary University, where she studied Business Administration. She lives in Kenosha with her husband, Scott, a precocious parrot and the office mascot, miniature poodle Duffy.
Executive Director, BizTimes Leadership Academy
Joseph Weitzer joined BizTimes Media in 2018 bringing with him more than 30 years of leadership experience. As a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate with advanced degrees, Weitzer brings a unique understanding of methods to optimize personal engagement and performance. He enjoys traveling, the arts, designing and producing stain-glass artwork, woodworking, and the occasional game of golf.
Sue Herzog joined BizTimes Media in 2017. She previously worked at the Better Business Bureau, the Milwaukee Ballet and the Greater Milwaukee Committee. She studied History at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Sue lives in Oak Creek with her husband Phil, her son, Jacob and cat, Cesare. Her two older sons, Adam and Ryan live in Minneapolis. She enjoys cooking, traveling and attending concerts.
Shelly Tabor has been with BizTimes Media since 2002. A graduate of Bradley University, Tabor previously worked for Creative Computers (Ricom Electronics), Paine Communications and Versant. Currently living in Glendale with her husband and daughter, she enjoys outdoor activities along the river and lakefront. Tabor volunteers with her church’s children’s bible study program and Sunday nursery program.
Alex Schneider is a Graphic Designer at BizTimes Media. He joined the team in fall of 2014. Born and raised in Madison, Alex attended Carroll University where he studied Graphic Communications and Marketing. He currently resides on the upper east side, just minutes away from the beach. He enjoys the outdoors and improving his skills as an artist.
Director of Sales
Linda Crawford is the Director of Sales for BizTimes Media. A graduate of The University of Texas, Crawford joined BizTimes in 2014. Previously, she served in sales and sales management positions at Central Office Systems, the Journal Sentinel Specialty Media Group, Trails Media and The Business Journal. She lives in Glendale with her husband, Tom, and their dog, Lily.
Amanda currently attends Alverno College and plans to graduate in the spring of 2018 with a degree in Business and Management. She enjoys working in sales and her background includes working as a part-time diamond sales specialist. In her free time, she loves running and hiking with her family and puppy in Wisconsin’s beautiful state parks.
Molly Lawrence joined BizTimes as an account executive in 2016. She has over 16 years’ experience, many of those with Racine's Journal Times. As a UW-Parkside graduate, Molly has a marketing background and in-depth knowledge of print, digital, mobile and sponsorship sales, as well as event planning. In her free time, Molly enjoys spending time with her children, dancing, concerts, camping and the beach.
David joined BizTimes in 2017. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. David has over 20 years of business to business sales experience, most of which has been spent working with businesses on the planning and execution of their integrated marketing programs. David is an avid sports fan, and enjoys traveling, golf and tennis in his free time.
Maggie Pinnt joined BizTimes Media as an account executive in April of 2015; she brings a background in digital advertising from several Milwaukee marketing agencies. A Carroll University alum, Maggie is also a proud Alpha Gamma Delta sister. In her free time, if she’s not with her family and two German Shepherds, you can find her singing away to whatever tune is stuck in her head.
Christie joined the BizTimes team in the fall of 2015 as an account executive. As a UW-Milwaukee graduate, she brings a background in graphic design and over six years of business to business sales in the Milwaukee area. Outside of BizTimes, you’ll find her exploring the outdoors with her camera, fishing and hunting with her husband or out enjoying music.
