IBAW hosts Scott VanderSanden, ATT Wisconsin President, on Future Technology in the Workplace and Beyond
The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) hosts a breakfast meeting on Friday, May 19th, 7 – 9:00 am, at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. Presentation is “Future Technology in the Workplace and Beyond” featuring Scott VanderSanden, president, AT&T Wisconsin. A plated breakfast is served.
A 22-year veteran of AT&T, Scott VanderSanden was appointed to the Wisconsin president position in November 2006. He worked closely with the Wisconsin State Legislature on Act 42, the Video Competition bill, which accelerated AT&T’s successful entry into the Wisconsin Video market. AT&T’s innovative U-verse product which offers consumers a true triple play of voice, video and Internet, is now available in more than 140 community segments in four metropolitan areas in the state. AT&T has added hundreds of jobs in Wisconsin related to U-verse.
Steve Kohlmann, Executive Director of IBAW, said, “Mr. VanderSanden’s presentations are always enlightening. Last time he spoke to IBAW, he forecasted widespread use of Wi-Fi in cars. Now all car makers offer Wi-Fi as an option. It will be interesting to hear his predictions on what technology is coming and how we’ll be able to use it in business.” To register for the April 21st program, go to www.IBAW.com.
