The Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation (BRPF) and Carroll University will host the ninth annual Run/Walk/Roll to Cure Paralysis on Sunday, October 7, 2018. The event will start and finish at Carroll University Schneider Stadium, 240 N. Barstow St.
Proceeds from the event benefit the BRPF, whose goal is to find a cure for paralysis through funding the latest in medical research, and to provide assistance to those that suffer from neurological disorders. The community event is open to the public and wheelchair participants are welcome.
Participants have the option of completing a 2.5k walk or roll, in addition to the 5k option. Following the race, refreshments will be provided for all participants at Schneider Stadium. All participants who register will be eligible for door prizes following the completion of the run/walk/roll. Registration received by September 30, 2018, will ensure a race-day T-shirt (shirts are available in adult and youth sizes). A discounted registration rate is also available for families.
