Journey House appoints new board officers

Journey House, Inc., a Milwaukee-based nonprofit organization focused on community development issues such as education, employment, crime prevention and neighborhood revitalization, has announced a new lineup of board directors to serve two-year terms.

 

Chris Calvelli, of Milwaukee-based Robert W. Baird & Co., has been appointed Board of Directors Chairman. Calvelli has participated on the board for five years and most recently served as president. He will take over for Barbara Klein, who was in the role of Chairman from 2011 to 2013. Klein will remain a member of the board of directors moving forward.

Additional new board members include Gene Manzanet, of PNC Bank, as president; Mike Kleber of Zilber Ltd./Zilber Property Group, as vice president; and Carmen Ventura, of S & S Home Solutions, as secretary.

Patrick Sheahan, of Oncourse Learning, will serve another term as treasurer.
