Ashley Hatley Caruso

Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) announced that Ashley Hatley Caruso has been appointed chief development officer.

She joined the organization in 2016 as director of major giving and was most recently interim chief development officer. In this role, Caruso will provide strategic leadership to develop and implement GSWISE’s fund development and philanthropic initiatives, including donor cultivation and stewardship.

“Ashley has an outstanding track record and has already proven herself to be a great asset to Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast. Her abilities will be invaluable as we build on our success as the premier leadership experience for all girls in all communities we serve,” said Christy L. Brown, GSWISE chief executive officer.

Prior to joining Girl Scouts, Caruso held philanthropy roles at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints Foundation in Racine, and Children’s Expressions at Children’s Memorial Foundation in Chicago. Caruso was also executive director of Black Point Historic Preserve in Lake Geneva.

Caruso is a past president of Junior League of Racine and is a former board member of the Racine Heritage Museum. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a certificate in fundraising management from the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
