Top 10 tips for starting and/or having a successful wellness program: In our experience, tying the program to results and some related incentive drive the greatest buy-in from people not generally inclined to participate. In addition, when the package is program, incentive, measurement and education, all in a good nature, positive environment that rewards rather than punishes, the overall participation in much better and the results much stronger. Lastly, the key management/ownership must participate, especially in a small organization where participation is much more visible, or others are not likely to buy in to the program.
