Mission Statement

The German Immersion Foundation supports the Milwaukee German Immersion School (MGIS) and the Milwaukee School of Languages (MSL) by providing the additional resources to fully fund programs needed to prepare children to excel in the competitive global marketplace.

GIF will host our first ever corporate fundraiser on Thursday January 24th, 2013 at the Grohmann Museum in downtown Milwaukee. This event will provide us the opportunity to highlight our wonderful schools to local businesses and individuals. Annual Auction

Mark your calendar for the annual GIF silent auction and fund raiser. This year we will be gathering Saturday April 13th, 2013 and reliving our favorite German fairy tales. We are also happy to announce that due to last year's record attendance we will be moving to a larger room at the Italian Community Center! More information will be available in the coming months.
