United Financial Services Inc. (UFS) will stay in Grafton by building a new headquarters in the Grafton Business Park.
Economic Development for Grafton Enhancement (EDGE) president Todd Luft announced that the firm will move to the new site, rather than leave the village.
"This is great news for Grafton," Luft said. "This really is an affirmation of everything we are doing from a branding standpoint. Grafton really does offer 'Quality Life. Naturally,' and I think the folks at UFS realized that."
"We looked around and decided that everything we were looking for was already here in Grafton," said UFS president Rick Haendel. "We have great employees and the strong backing of the community. Staying here is the right decision."
United Financial Services is a privately held technology firm that provides data processing services to the community banking industry in Wisconsin.
UFS is currently located at 2230 Dakota Drive in Grafton and plans to start building at its new site in 2010. The firm currently employs 32 people.
"We are delighted that UFS will be moving into our business park," said Steve Cary, developer of the Grafton Business Park.
