Groundbreaking held for Cambridge Major expansion

A groundbreaking ceremony was held last week for the $40 million expansion of Cambridge Major Laboratories Inc. at W130 N10497 Washington Drive in Germantown. The 120,000-square-foot expansion project, scheduled to be completed in August 2009, will more than triple the size of Cambridge Major's facility and will create 50 new jobs. Major Laboratories is pharmaceutical research and development company. The firm provides scientific services to biotech and pharmaceutical producers.
