BizTimes Around Town: Young Professionals Volunteer at La Casa de Esperanza

Waukesha, WI – On Wednesday, October 28, 2009, Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals and YP Impact coordinated volunteer efforts to help children carve pumpkins at La Casa de Esperanza. This collaborative effort included a total of 35 young professionals between the two groups.

 

Over 50 children were in attendance, many of whom had never carved their own pumpkins. The pumpkins were purchased at a discounted price from Stein Garden & Gifts in Waukesha.
