What does your daily or weekly fitness regimen consist of?

Tennis 1-2 days per week, aerobic conditioning 1-2 days per week, and weight training 1-2 days per week.

What fitness clubs do you belong to, if any?

Highlander Elite

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?

Physical exercise is a great way to reduce stress.  As someone new to the community, joining a tennis club has been a great way to meet people and make new friendships.

How does personal fitness affect your work life?

Maintaining a level of fitness provides a level of stamina to address the mental challenges that work presents. 

Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?

Yes

What health/wellness organizations do you contract with, if any?

We have a number of relationships and contracts with various health/wellness organizations for different purposes.

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?

As a healthcare provider and research organization, MCW needs to be a leader in the community for fitness and wellness.

What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?

Find things that you enjoy doing rather than the latest trend in fitness.
