QPS Companies changes name

As Brookfield-based QPS Companies Inc. prepares for its 25th year in business, the company is changing its name and launching a re-branding campaign.
QPS Companies will now be called QPS Employment Group. The name has been changed to better reflect the services QPS currently provides as well as better position the company for future growth, the company said.
QPS expects the re-branding process to take 12 months. QPS' green committee will oversee the process, ensuring adherence to green standards and desire to conserve resources.
"During downturns, it is important to re-focus,” said Dan McNulty, executive vice president and chief operating officer of QPS. “QPS' mission is continuous growth, and we believe that by changing our name and clearly re-defining what we do, that we will come out of this recession stronger, both for ourselves and for our customers."
Looking ahead, McNulty said, "If you are not constantly re-inventing and improving, you are left behind in the dust. Our new name reflects not only staffing, but our value-added employment services that we provide as a full-service firm.”
