Hume will be keynote speaker at Medical College dinner

Brit Hume, managing editor and chief Washington correspondent for Fox News, will be the keynote speaker for the Medical College of Wisconsin's Healthcare 2008 Dinner, which will take place Monday, Oct. 20, at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
The event is hosted by the Medical College's Digestive Disease Center Advisory Board.
Hume will provide an update on Washington and the presidential election. Event co-chairs are Ruth Brash and John Dedrick. Registration and a reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m., and the program at 8 p.m.
Hume is one of America's best-known journalists with over 40 years in the business.
The event will also include presentation of the Warren P. Knowles Humanitarian Award to Sheldon and Marianne Lubar. The award honors an individual or organization from Wisconsin with a commitment to health-related issues and whose work reflects the dedication to public service and education marking the career of Gov. Knowles.
