Milwaukee-based Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan LLP, one of the nation's largest minority-owned law firms, announced today that the company has expanded its national footprint by opening an office in New York City, the firm's ninth.
Philip Berg and Angela Dorn, formerly of Berg & Dorn Law Partners, will join Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan as managing partners for the New York office.
Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan's expansion into New York strengthens the firm's existing real estate, employment and corporate and transactional groups and opens the door to new corporate and municipal clients based in the New York metropolitan area.
The company's existing clients include national companies such as Accenture, Limited Brands and Summit Business Media.
"Nearly everyone would agree that New York is both the legal and business epicenter of the United States," said Emery Harlan, partner of Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan. "As our firm continues to grow aggressively, expanding into New York was the logical next step."
