Business Health Care Group launches new partnership

The Business Health Care Group (BHCG) has partnered with Health Dynamics, a medical service corporation that exists to assist business organizations, insurance carriers, health funds and associations in their efforts to contain rising health care expenditures through preventive health exams and follow up.
The Health Dynamics Preventive Care Program will allow the BHCG to assist member companies in helping employees and their spouses understand their health status and what they can do to improve their health status.
"Employers who offer comprehensive health screening programs can have a positive impact on their employees' health," said Dianne Kiehl, executive director of the BHCG. "Preventive Care has a direct impact on the use of health care. It drives down overall health care costs, and we expect to see that happen in southeast Wisconsin."
Health Dynamics Preventive Care Program will be offered to BHCG self-funded members' employees and spouses at a preferred price and will be covered under the employees' annual routine care benefit. The program is designed to thoroughly assess individual health status and health risks and consists of 17 components, including comprehensive physical fitness testing and wellness coaching.
"I would strongly recommend member companies offer this program. It is a cost effective prevention program offering both a comprehensive and standardized approach. The follow up coaching visit is a great way for individuals to assess their lifestyle choices and determine areas for improvement," Kiehl said.
