U.S. Chamber ranks Wisconsin last for job growth

Wisconsin ranks dead last out of 50 states in short-term job growth, according to a new report for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The Enterprising States study examined in-depth rankings of economic priorities, policies and programs in the 50 states.

According to the report, Wisconsin ranks 50th in short-term job growth, 45th in long-term job growth, 44th in overall economic performance, 41st in innovation and entrepreneurship, 39th in business climate, 17th in infrastructure, 16th in exports and 14th in talent pipeline.
