“It will be completed and open April 1, in time for (Twin City Catholic Educational System) schools to have their spring programs,” said Richard Bergstrom, president of Bergstrom Automotive and co-chairman of the project’s fundraising campaign.
The 22,000-square-foot addition to the high school will consist of a 496-seat main auditorium, a 100-seat forensic theater, dressing rooms, and scene and costume shops. It also will be equipped with state-of-the-art sound, lighting and production equipment.
In addition, four new interactive electronic classrooms will be added to the school.
A group of Neenah-Menasha businessmen, including Bergstrom, paved the way for the project, raising $2 million in matching gifts.
