Geraghty succeeds Julie Pedretti, who has moved to Florida to pursue other career opportunities.
“Tricia will be responsible for the comprehensive marketing strategy for Children’s Hospital in alignment with our strategic plan. She will help us further define and implement a marketing plan that strengthens our market position locally, regionally and nationally, and that inspires support for Children’s Hospital as one of our community’s greatest assets,” said Peggy Troy, president and chief executive officer of Children’s Hospital and Health System. “I am delighted to have Tricia on board to help us deliver our mission of caring for children.”
Murphy, who has been serving as senior director of brand marketing in Marquette Office of Marketing and Communication, was appointed to the interim post by Marquette President Scott Pilarz, S.J.
Prior to joining Marquette, Murphy was executive creative director and partner at Versant, a Milwaukee-based marketing firm, for 25 years.
"Dave possesses a strong and diverse background in marketing and understands Marquette's unique qualities. He is well-positioned to maintain continuity on key initiatives and articulate the voice of the university as we progress in the strategic planning process," Pilarz said. "We will conduct a search, and I'm confident that we can identify a top quality vice president in the near future.”
