Two dead after shooting at Trans-Coil

Two employees have died after a shooting Thursday night at Trans-Coil International LLC, 7878 N. 86th St., Milwaukee.

A 23-year-old man who worked at Trans-Coil opened fire on a 58-year-old male supervisor at the manufacturing company around 6 p.m., according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
The supervisor was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. The suspect was also found dead at the business, apparently by suicide. The names of the victims have not been released by police.
Trans-Coil, which has about 93 employees, makes peripherals for AC and DC drives, including harmonic filters, drive output filters and line reactors that are used in power inverters.
TCI president Steven Copp was not available for comment.
