Negotiations continue between Hearst and Time Warner Cable

Negotiations between Time Warner Cable and Hearst Television, the parent company of WISN-Channel 12, are continuing, even though the two parties reached a midnight deadline without an agreement.
WISN's carriage agreement with Time Warner expired at 11:59 p.m. Monday.

Hearst Television granted Time Warner a temporary extension of the negotiation deadline.
Because of that extension, WISN-12 will continue to be seen on Time Warner cable systems in southeastern Wisconsin for the time being.
In a prepared statement, Hearst said, “We cannot predict if or when discussions with Time Warner will resume. In light the current impasse, we urge viewers to make alternative arrangements for receipt of our signal. Our signal remains available over the air for free as well as on other cable systems and on satellite providers DIRECTV and DISH Network. If you wish to receive your local broadcast channels over the air, you can determine the type of antenna you will need to receive our signal online at http://www.antennaweb.org”
