The Pfister Hotel
The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, owned and managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, was honored with a national “Stars of the Industry” award from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in the category of guest relations for a large property.
Todd Karpinski, executive director of pharmacy at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, has been named a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. The honor is given to practitioners who have contributed to the knowledge and literature in the pharmacy practice, educated practitioners and others, and demonstrated involvement in professional activities.
Sprecher Brewing Co. Inc.
Sprecher Brewing Co. Inc., Glendale, won eight medals at the 2012 Los Angeles International Beer Competition, including one bronze medal, five silver medals, and two gold medals. Gold medal winners included the brewer’s Irish Stout and Pipers Scotch Ale beers. Chameleon Brewing Company, founded in 2010 by Randy Sprecher, founder of Sprecher Brewing, also won two medals, including a gold medal for its Hop on Top experimental beer.
SoftwareONE, with U.S. headquarters in Waukesha, has won the 2012 Microsoft Corporate Accounts LAR Partner of the Year and the Volume Licensing Partner of the Year Awards. SoftwareONE’s business model is entirely focused on software licensing and software asset management solutions.
