Adult volunteers join Optimist Clubs to conduct positive community service projects aimed at providing a helping hand to youth. Every year, Optimists conduct more than 65,000 service projects and serve well over 6 million young people.
Workshops at the convention cover a range of topics, such as innovative community service projects, fundraising and membership strategies, and the role of social media in club and project development.
Visit Milwaukee estimates that the convention will have an economic impact of almost $2.5 million in the greater Milwaukee area.
