Wausaukee Composites will close its Gillett facility, putting 45 employees out of work, according to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
The Gillett facility, 431 E. Main St., is expected to close Aug. 31, the Wausaukee-based company said in a June 25 letter to the state. Some employees might work for a short time after that date, the company said. Sintex Industries Ltd. of Kalol, India, bought majority ownership of the company in 2007.
