The Oshkosh Common Council on Tuesday will consider providing $3 million in public assistance for the renovation of the former City Center Hotel.
The proposed assistance would help the hotel developers secure bank financing for the balance of the estimated $14 million acquisition and renovation of the property at 1 N. Main St. and help reduce projected operating losses in the hotel's first two years of operation, according to the project plan developed by city planners.
