In less than 10 weeks — 66 days, to be exact — Sheboygan County once again becomes a Mecca for major championship golf, as the U.S. Women's Open returns to Blackwolf Run for the first time since 1998, when South Korean Se Ri Pak won an unforgettable playoff over Jenny Chuasiriporn.

Officials from the United States Golf Association, the governing body in charge of the U.S. Open, were at Blackwolf on Thursday touring the course in preparation for the event, scheduled for July 2-8.
It's the fifth major championship Kohler Co. will host.
