GREEN BAY - Manufacturing and health-care workers in high demand

Future job opportunities in Brown County will be in familiar areas — manufacturing and health care, especially — but the nature of those jobs has changed dramatically in the last decade, and change continues. According to the Wisconsin’s WorkNet website, operated by the Department of Workforce Development, the highest demand statewide for the next six years will be for registered nurses, personal and home care aides, home health aides, and network systems and data communications analysts. Manufacturing jobs may not grow as significantly, but will continue to be available and among the best paying.
