West Bend-based Spaulding Clinical Research LLC, a clinical pharmacology, cardiac core lab, and medical device manufacturer, today announced that it has entered into a joint partnership agreement with Eurofins Optimed Clinical Research, a France-basedclinical research service provider.
"The culture of excellence and research facilities designed to execute high-quality studies was very impressive to our team," said Daniel Selness, general manager and senior vice president of operations for Spaulding Clinical Research. "We felt immediately comfortable with the Optimed clinical team and witnessed their efficient execution of studies."
"We were very impressed that Spaulding achieved ISO certification, which is not common among US clinical research facilities," said Eurofins Optimed Clinical Research president and CEO Yves Donazzolo. "Their innovative systems approach with Electronic Data Capture is something that we have been looking to implement, so the partnership will allow us to consider how to collaborate more closely as these systems are put in place."
Spaulding Clinical Research operates a 105-bed clinical pharmacology unit with 96-beds of Mortara telemetry in a former hospital in West Bend.
