The BizTimes Stock Index lost 3.98 points to close at 84.89 Friday, and local stocks were mixed in early morning trading today. The largest local gainers this morning were Snap-on Inc. (up $1.18 to $35.90) and Kohl's Corp. (up 98 cents to $28.34). The largest local decliners this morning were Badger Meter Inc. (down $1.86 to $19.35) and Wisconsin Energy Corp. (down $1.10 to $38.35).
