Sauk Technologies, a part of Kohler Co., has been named Business of the Year by the Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington (WOW) County Workforce Development Board.
The award is presented yearly to a business in the three-county area that has met and exceeded the board's criteria in the following categories: leadership, relationship with the Workforce Development Centers, workforce development practices, community involvement, effective use of community resources, number of new hires, excellent training and innovation in hiring, training, and retention.
The WOW board also announced it has re-elected John Heyer, president of Kettle Moraine Coatings, as its board chair, and Mary Wehrheim, president of Stanek Tool, as its vice-chair.
