Milwaukee-based Adelman Travel Group announced today that Bob Chaiken has been named president and chief financial officer of the company, and Steve Cline has been named chief operating officer.
Chaiken will have responsibility for the full scope of the company's activities. Under his management, the company will strategically align the company with the "best match" acquisitions and partnerships for both North America and outside of the Americas.
Cline will manage the account management, operations and sales organizations to maximize internal sales efforts and customer service strategies.
Chaiken has served at Adelman for 17 years in various roles, and Cline has served at the company for 13 years.
"As chairman and CEO, I will continue to provide overall leadership of our company while Bob Chaiken and Steve Cline will be the driving forces in leading our outstanding team through the many tough challenges of our industry," said Craig Adelman. "Chaiken's wide-ranging experience in strategy, technology and acquisitions will help us to find new business models that will enhance our company's success. Cline's initiatives to more closely align account management, sales and operations will ensure seamless delivery of services in a cost effective manner."
