Magnasphere Corp., a Waukesha-based maker of magnetic sensors for residential, commercial and federal security uses, will now be distributed by Digi-Key Corp.
Magnasphere's products are featured in Thief River Falls, Minn.-based Digi-Key's print and online catalogs and can be bought directly though Digi-Key. The new agreement will enable Digi-Key to work with customers on prototype and design and production quantities.
Magnasphere was founded in 2002 and will gain significant market exposure through the distribution agreement, said Rick Kirschman, president of the company.
"As an important emerging technology, Magnasphere brand recognition will be greatly enhanced through its exposure to Digi-Key's vast customer base," Kirschman said.
