Archbishop to keynote GMC's annual meeting

The Rev. Timothy Dolan, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Milwaukee, will discuss the roles and responsibilities of leaders in the community during the annual meeting of the Greater Milwaukee Committee (GMC) on Monday, Feb. 12.

The meeting will begin at noon at the University Club of Milwaukee.

Dolan was appointed Archbishop of Milwaukee by Pope John Paul II on June 25, 2002.

Prior to Dolan's presentation, GMC leadership will share with members the accomplishments of 2006 and an outlook for 2007 from the committees of Regional Economic Development, Education, Diversity and Quality of Life.

In addition, Ed Zore, president and chief executive officer of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., will be installed as chairman of the GMC for a two-year term, succeeding Steven Smith, chairman of the board and CEO of Journal Communications Inc.
