Some Milwaukee-area businesses are joining together to launch a Red Cross blood drive in the spring.
"I believe that we can easily achieve a several-hundred person blood drive by uniting employees of Milwaukee-area businesses. The initial goal is to form a committee to coordinate the drive at a central location/time/date in order to maximize its effectiveness," said organizer Jason Kayzar of MC2 Inc. in Milwaukee.
Kayzar is seeking committee members interested in helping to recruit members, find a host site for the drive, secure door prizes and other tasks.
