Stevens Point-based Sentry Insurance plans to expand its information technology operations by opening an office in the Fox Valley.
Company officials are recruiting for open positions and negotiating a lease for a Fox Valley office that would be occupied in early 2007, according to a report by WisBusiness.com, a media partner of Small Business Times.
"The Fox Valley is an ideal location for Sentry Insurance to expand our information technology operations. There is a rich pool of talent in the area, and with the U.S. Highway 10 improvements, it's now just under an hour's drive to our headquarters in Stevens Point," said Jim Stitzlein, senior vice president of operational services for Sentry Insurance.
