Uline Inc. will receive $375,000 in Technology Zone state tax credits for an expansion project in Pleasant Prairie that will create 75 jobs and generate $2.1 million in investment.
Uline is in the Southeast Tri-County Technology Zone, which is comprised of Racine, Walworth and Kenosha counties. Uline is a leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packing materials to businesses throughout the United States.
The company is leasing a 301,650-square-foot building in Pleasant Prairie for use as a distribution center, with plans to expand it to more than 602,000 square feet. The new distribution center is expected to be in operation before the end of 2006.
