The largest local decliners this morning were Johnson Controls Inc. (down $1.00 to $76.08) and A.O. Smith Corp. (down 83 cents to $43.69). Only a handful of local stocks gained ground this morning, led by Oilgear Co. (up 25 cents to $11.69) and Merge Technologies Inc. (up 16 cents to $7.48). The BizTimes Stock Index was created by Small Business Times and is monitored by North Shore Bank.
