C.G. Schmidt adds to management team

C.G. Schmidt Inc. has announced three new additions to its management team. Thomas Empric, former vice president of operations at Walbridge Aldinger Construction Co., has joined C.G. Schmidt as executive vice president of construction operations. Bill Nitkowski, former vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Ark-Les Corp., has been named C.G. Schmidt's new CFO and vice president of administration. Mikelis "Mike" Abuls was promoted from the company's director of project development to vice president of 1Source, the Milwaukee construction firm's design-build division. "In order to serve the changing needs of our customers, we must be prepared to deliver a wider range of services with greater efficiency and more value," said Steve Chamberlin, president of C.G. Schmidt.
