The BizTimes Stock Index, which measures the stock values of publicly held companies based in southeastern Wisconsin, lost 1.08 points to close at 142.31 Monday, and local stocks attempted to hold their ground in a flat session of early morning trading today. Local stocks were led this morning by Kohl's Corp. (up 98 cents to $43.26) and Briggs & Stratton Corp. (up 84 cents to $84.95). The largest local decliners were Badger Meter Inc.
